Artist-in-residence program
The Ano Panta artist-in-residence program is a five year artist residency hosted in Kalogerou 1844 for one month a year starting in 2023.
Five multidisciplinary creative practitioners will be invited to stay at Kalogerou 1844 during the 2023-2028 residency season for one month a year.
The program is free-of-charge and covers:
Transport from Corfu to Othoni and back.
Housing at Kalogerou 1844
Food and board
Car & fuel costs
Once a week the residency will be open for studio visits where visitors and locals will be able to see work in progress and meet with the artist.
At the end of every residency the artists are expected to showcase their work produced while in the residency and submit one piece of work to the Ano Panta Collection (co-owned by the island’s Othonian Council and Kalogerou 1844).
During the summer there will be an exhibition of the work produced in one of the two schools of Othoni (both now shut since no children live permanently on the island). At the end of each five year program a group-show of the five participants will take place in Othoni.
The forthcoming dedicated online platform www.anopanta.com will showcase the work, invite interaction with the artists, have available podcasts and live coverage.
